"Unfortunately several of our waste collection contractors are unwell with COVID-19.
For health and safety reasons, the crew will be prioritising rubbish and recycling collections, which means that from tomorrow (Tues 8 Feb) glass collections will stop until further notice.
If you have already put your glass out today it will be collected today (or tomorrow in some areas due to collection delays) but after that, it will be paused.
In the meantime, residents can either stockpile their glass or drop it off for free at the Recycling Station at the Southern Landfill.
We apologise for this disruption. Our thoughts are with our contractors and we wish them a speedy recovery.
