"Visiting Council sites at Red
Stay home if you’re unwell, or if you or someone you’ve been in close contact with has COVID-19 to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you need to self-isolate, support is available on the Ministry’s website: If you test positive for COVID-19
For everyone’s comfort and safety when visiting our facilities, please:
Mask – Wear a mask if you are 12 years and over - unless you hold an exemption card. You can remove it to eat and drink in café spaces within our facilities, and when exercising or swimming. You can wear surgical masks, cloth face masks or heavier-grade respirators like N95 masks. Makeshift masks like scarves, bandanas and pulled up t-shirts do no comply with government’s guidelines.
Pass – Show staff your COVID Vaccine Pass when visiting any of the Council’s sites. This applies to visitors, contractors, and couriers visiting our spaces. Please check the requirements for our services and facilities below. Note that children under 12 years old, and school students participating in specific activities are not required to show vaccine passes.
Be kind – Most customer facing staff will be wearing masks unless they are not required to for safety reasons, or have an exemption.
We encourage everyone to:
leave a little earlier for classes or events to avoid any queues during peak times
follow the directions of our staff so we can check people in as quickly as possible
wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser
use EFTPOS or other contactless payments if you can. We will accept cash but prefer not to for hygiene reasons.
Your COVID Vaccine Pass and rates
Whether you choose to use a COVID Vaccine Pass or not will not impact on your rates.
Rates are charged to make public facilities available for use, and are set by Council.
Everyone pays the same rates for public facilities and services regardless if they choose to use these or not."
