The first regularly published reports for the City Engineer's Department were issued in 1948. Before that there is a report for 1946/47 on Town Clerk's Department file 50/598 Part 1 (Series 00001) and a section in the Council annual reports. The reports for 1950 to 1954 are amalgamated into one volume. Some reports between 1903 and 1948 are on files or with Council Committee minutes.
