Archives Identifier00320Date Range1931-1953DescriptionThis volume contains internal and inwards memos relating to staff accounts - appointments, salaries and wages, holiday allowances, wages awards, etc. Most are hand written notes from the accountant, signed 'WA' W F Alexander, to Miss Hogan, who was the Accounts Clerk until 1949 when Alexander retired and she became Senior Clerk in Charge (retired 1959). Some are from the General Manager, R E Herron, and other officers of the Milk Department, or from the Town Clerk. Some newspaper clippings about general wages and awards are included. Some memos have cross references to the Instruction books, Series 00322.
