Archives Identifier00541Date Range1999-2002DescriptionThis series contains colour photographs taken by the City Photographer, Neil Price, and commissioned photographer, Mark Coote, as part of a District Plan project to review information held on residential buildings in the 1995 Heritage Inventory. They were taken in preparation for the 2001 District Plan update. The majority of the photographs are of residential buildings for the Residential Heritage Inventory. The 2001 project aimed to photograph, from the street, the 280 residential buildings listed in the District Plan as having heritage significance. There are, however, some non-residential buildings included. Also, one packet of photographs was taken in January 2002 and a small number in 1999 or 2000. Prints of the photographs are contained in their original envelopes, sometimes with negatives. Many envelopes contain duplicate sets of prints.
