The publications are bound volumes which are produced at the end of each funding round to be presented to the Councillors on the Grants Sub-Committee. The volumes include information about each application and council officer recommendations under sections titled: Schedule of Applicants Criteria Applications in alphabetical order List of results from previous grant round The publications in this series were produced prior to the development and implementation of the Grants framework in 2004. During this period numerous small grant rounds were held each year. The pools were many and varied and include ones noted below: Wellington City Council Safer Community Grants Tawa Community Grants (Please note that these are decided by the Tawa grants committee which is a subcommittee of the Tawa Community Board) Wellington City Council Community Grants Wellington City Council Youth Initiative Grants Wellington City Council Contestable Salary Grants Since the implementation of the Grants framework the grants unit manages numerous streams of community funding through rate payer funds, for these grants, applications are open 3 times a year though 4 pools. All information relating to the grants applications is copied and bound ready for the Councillors on the Grants Sub-committee. The Grants Unit also manages funds that do not come from Rate payer funding this includes Creative New Zealand funding through the Creative Communities scheme, which is the: Creative Communities New Zealand Local Funding Scheme For these grants the process is the same as above but the grants are decided through the creative communities committee (not the Councils Grants Subcommittee). There is a councillor on this committee.
