Each leaflet provides a brief description of the content for each book including the title and author. The descriptions for the books are arranged under general headings, for example: Sociology, Religion, Language, Etiquitte, etc. The descriptions offer a glimpse into topical subjects in literature for the period 1967 to 1988 and show how this changed during that time. The format of the leaflets varies. Earlier leaflets are a simple A4 sheet with a staple in the top left corner and no pictures, illustrations are introduced from approximately 1974; From 1978 the leaflets are a smaller A5 size and include photographs.
