The annual accounts include financial details and a list of ships. For some years there were interim half-yearly balance sheets. The early reports, 1882-1916, include a copy of the notice of meeting, the final financial accounts and the report of the minutes of the meeting, with the lists of ships and a map showing shipping routes. The reports from 1968 include the directors' and auditors' reports. After 1971 there are no separate financial statements. The final report for the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand is for 1979.
