Keen worked in Sales Promotion as the 'Sole Agent for Wellington Corporation Transport Advertising'.
Photographs include images of advertising on the interior and exterior of trams and buses, the format of the advertising consisting of posters as well as painted signs on the top of tram cars. More or less of the actual vehicle is captured in different photographs, and a small number of photographs include street scenes, people and other vehicles.
Advertisements for known-Wellington businesses which have been photographed include Foto Shop (8 Lambton Quay and 47 Manners Street), Kenners, Universal Fur Co Ltd (76 Manners Street), F G Hood & Co Ltd (Thorndon Quay), Self Help Lambton Quay, Remington Rand NZ Ltd (Dixon Street), Dobbie Brothers Reliable Rental Cars (80 Tory Street), and Style Leader Sports Trousers by Petone.
The standard of the photography is not particularly high and the photographs are more a record of Keen's work rather than high-quality images. Photograph sizes vary from the smallest at 84x59mm, to the largest at 80x115mm.Quantity (Linear Metres)0.25MediumPhotographCollection TypeCommunity archives
