Descriptive Data
Archives IdentifierBH001Date Range2006-2007DescriptionThis series contains the results of an oral history project undertaken by Mt Victoria Historical Society over 2006/2007, to mark the tenth anniversary of the Society's founding. Fourteen residents of Mt Victoria, all of whom had lived in the suburb for twenty or more years, were interviewed and photographed. Interviews focused on experiences, events and observations over the time the subject had been resident in Mt Victoria. The project culminated in an exhibition based on the oral history interviews and photography. The first interview, with John Horgan, was taped on audio cassette but the remainder were recorded on digital files. The cds contain the colour digital photographs and audio interview files for all candidates except John Horgan, in whose case they contain only the photographs. Accompanying documentation includes an information form, photography and interview agreement forms and a transcription of the interview for each candidate. (In John Horgan's case, the transcription is only partial.)Quantity (Linear Metres)0.25MediumFileCollection TypeCommunity archives
