The business contracted Precision Engineering to manufacture the display equipment and operated in this partnership for its period of operation. The focus of the equipment was related to promotion, merchandising and early enterprise.
C H Andrews was born in 1907 and was an active and involved Wellington businessman, participating in national and civic events including floats for parades; setting off cannons for commemoration of events like the Battle of Hastings; and in the 1940s he was involved in the generation of posters in relation to the war effort. Much of his correspondence from the war period was destroyed in a fire in the 1950s.
C H Andrews had six sons, and it operated as a family business for many years. In the 1960s C H Andrews became unwell and by his death in 1970, his sons Robin and David had taken over the management of the business. Following his death, the companies manufacturing focus changed from display equipment to lockers.External LinksTe Papa record of Cecil Andrews
