The chapel to be called the Wellington Hospital Nurses' Memorial Chapel. - promote and stimulate interest in Wellington Hospital affairs - promote and stimulate interest in the Nurses' Magazine. Wellington Hospital nurses raised every penny for construction in the Wellington area and the chapel was built in the 1960's. The chapel was decomissioned and demolished as part of the redevelopment of Wellington Hospital. The chapel's contents were disposed of to various religious establishments.
