Date RangeOctober 1995-1997DescriptionCity Design was one of the divisions operating under the Service Delivery section of Council from 1995 to 1997. It took over the engineering design work of CityWorks Division (1991-1994). City Design had three departments: Building Design, Drainage Design and Roading Design. It supplied management and engineering design services for Council roading, drainage and building projects. Its officers included project managers, draughtspersons, design engineers and architects. The manager for this period was Roger Shand. After the restructuring of late 1997, a Professional Services business unit was established under Service Delivery, and Roading Design became part of this unit.
