The Broderick Inn was officially opened on 6th December 1973 as the trust's first liquor facility - nine long years after the election of the Trust Promotion Committee in 1964. This collection consists of published materials related to Johnsonville Licensing Trust, correspondence and ephemera related to the opening of Broderick Inn.

The trust dissolved in 2005 and the records cover only a fraction of the time of the trust's operation.
