The first Cityscapes was published in 1977 and the second book, The Compleat Cityscapes was published in 2012. The box consists of three bundles of unsorted roughly grouped notes, the bundles are grouped by chapter or subject, and are not in any order beyond how they were received by City Archives. These were either used for both books or were stored together and the subjects interleaved.

This box also contains a working file for the book - Full Circle: The History of the St James Theatre, which was published in 1998; and a working file for the book - Good Old Kiwi Identities, which was published in 2000.MediumLoose papers
