Archives Identifier00403Date Range1900-1959DescriptionThese folders have been compiled from miscellaneous letters, loose and on file pins found in Accessions 1999/79 and 1999/106. The early folders contain mainly inwards letters but later include copies of outwards letters. They are in rough chronological order only, as the original groupings of related letters have been retained. That results in minor subject collations sometimes over many months or even years. Larger subject files have been placed in a separate series, 00404. Duplicate papers and drafts of letters have been disposed of. Many of the items originally had labels attached with pins, with alphabetical letters relating to the alpha codes used for correspondence items presented in the agenda notices and minutes of meetings of the Town Board.
