The post was as follows:
I tēnei wā tonu, kua 3,775,269 te tokomaha o ngā tāngata i werohia katoatia ki te kano āraimate.
3,775,269 people are now fully vaccinated.
Yesterday, 20,555 doses were administered. This includes 9,303 booster doses. More than 7.9 million doses have been administered to date.
Kua 91 te nama o ngā kēhi KOWHEORI-19 ā hapori i ara ake i te rangi nei. Kua 4 te nama o ngā kēhi hou kua ara ake i te ripa whenua.
There are 91 new community cases of COVID-19 to report today. There are:
- 2 in Northland
- 55 in Auckland
- 7 in Waikato
- 10 in Bay of Plenty
- 1 in Lakes DHB (North Island)
- 16 in Taranaki
There are 4 new active cases at the border.
There are 58 cases in hospital. Of these, 4 are in an intensive care or high dependency unit.
COVID-19 has been detected for a sixth time in wastewater in Tairāwhiti Gisborne on 14 December. This indicates that there may be unknown cases in the community. Anyone living in the region with any symptoms that could be COVID-19 – no matter how mild – is encouraged to get a test.
