In late 1972 the market relocated to an old warehouse down Farmers Lane (off Lambton Quay). Initially operating only on Fridays, trading days extended to Saturday in December 1973.
In November 1976 the market moved to 188 Upper Willis Street and continued to operate there until it closed its doors in September 1983.
