The majority of these records were created by Robert Logan and Barbara Mitcalfe who were both founding members of the Trust.

The Trust was formed and incorporated as a Charitable Trust in 1999 to manage the Long Gully Bush Reserve. In 2002 the Trust land got protection with a QEII National Trust Open Space Covenant.
