Archives Identifier00153Date Range2001-2011DescriptionThis is a series of public newsletters for the owners, licensees and managers of food and licensed premises, which was initiated as a result of combining the Liquor and Environmental Health teams' newsletters under one new banner. The aim was to improve and streamline communications with these service industry customers. Starting in June 2001, thereafter the newsletter was published four times a year, in March, June, September and December. Newsletters contain articles on such things as profiles on teams within the Environmental Control Business Unit, information about requirements under regulations, safety tips, reporting on problems found in inspections and information about such things as holiday hours. In some issues there are also contributions from other organisations, such as the Hospitality Association of New Zealand. The newsletter is in full colour, with photographs of food and liquor premises in Wellington and the people working in them.
