Archives IdentifierAF035Date Range1925-1958DescriptionThis volume is an alphabetical register of those Providore staff blacklisted from further work temporarily or permanently for misconduct, such as missing passage, asleep on duty, drunkenness, entering women's cabins or toilets, sexual conduct, criminal activity (theft, assault, murder, Custom's breaches), bad language, incompetence, refusing duties, desertion, etc. The register records, date, name, rating (steward, waiter, etc.), vessel, nature of misconduct and has additional notes in red, if blacklisting only temporary, i.e. given another chance.
