Archives Identifier00787Date Range1995-2004DescriptionPlans of waterworks including as built water supply, pumping stations and watermains. This is the second sequence of W prefix numbered plans created for waterworks plans and have had various numbering systems used to control them.

At some point during the period when the Wellington Regional Council were managing water supply, plans were collated according to subject, project, or location - and example of a location based grouping would be water reservoirs. These groups were put in to folders and assigned a WF prefixed number. Those folders may contain W, LM, SM, A, and B plans. Not all plans were put into WF folders, and exist as individual plans with their original number.

This sequence dates to the later part of when the Wellington Regional Council were managing water supply, and re-used the method of W prefix numbering for plans, originally used by the Waterworks Branch of Wellington City Council.
